If #pokemon were really animals in our world, this is how we would make them suffer… #Pignite: In the time it took me to paint this, over 6000 #pigs were killed in a single slaughterhouse. Every hour, in the US alone, over 1100 pigs are killed in every single slaughterhouse. On average a pig will live 10 to 15 years…but pigs killed in factory farms are sent to slaughter only after three-six months of their life. Still just babies. When they are born, their tails are docked, and their teeth are torn out without anesthetics. They are fattened up with supplemented cornmeal, often mixed with disposed food, plastic, or even other animals, then are gassed in CO2 gas chambers where they burn and suffocate to death from the inside out when they are big enough to sell. This is considered a “humane” practice, but anyone who would see such things happen to any other, would not agree in the slightest. Pigs are highly intelligent, complex beings that have strong bonds with their families, and friends. Some studies have even shown them to be more intelligent than dogs, and human toddlers (and imo, most human adults). They scream for mercy as they are forced onto the kill floor, and wish to live just like any of us… Please refuse the slaughter of these beautiful beings. #eggs never come without a price. You might think being #vegetarian helps animals, but that’s far from the truth… all farmed birds like #chickens and #turkeys are selectively bred to lay 100x the amount of eggs they would naturally, which means thier bodies are violated by humans to become constantly fertile(r@ped), so they can continue the cycle of selfish profit.
Female and male baby #chicks are sorted on a conveyor belt. The females are thrown into a basket to be inserted into the same egg-laying slave cycle as their mothers, and the males are launched directly into a macerator on their first day of life… just innocent babies being thrown into a grinder, and murdered just because the industry sees no profit in them. These industries hide the truth from you…they make you believe that eating eggs is OK, when in reality, it supports the most cruel industries in the entire world….people who profit off of killing babies. After the Egg laying mothers are “spent”, which means their bodies have given in, and can no longer ovulate, they are also murdered and disposed of, or put into low-quality meat, like dog, or prison food.
Even humane-washed labels like “cage-free”, “grass-fed”, “organic”birds are also subjected to this torture, and abuse…they put these labels on here to lie to consumers to make them feel better about supporting unnecessary violence upon innocent babies…
